about

Still a bit sick, but Em came to visit anyway and we wrote two songs together with very different styles.

lyrics

I walked circles when I was small
And would end where I wanted to be
If I’d need to become tall
You would be strong and carry me

I never played football or markets
But lived on old imagined seas
You could not keep hearts in your pocket
That didn't mean you had to leave

Where have they gone, our once dear ones?

Already knew what you confessed
Scarred the limbs of every tree
We are all laid to rest
The remnants of a family

Search again all in vain
When we are lost what can be found?
Mounds of gold can’t reclaim
Or build again on once holy ground

Where have they gone, our once dear ones?
Where have they gone, our once dear ones?
